Now that the season is changing, heading into autumn so is our cravings, our body wants more of warmer foods, roasted veggies and soups. This is what it's called Seasonal Eating. If you haven't noticed yet take some time to connect to your body and see how your cravings start changing in the next couples of weeks.
With that being said, brussel sprouts was my husband's craving the other night, this recipe is very simple yet with a lot of flavor. Being honest, I'm not the biggest brussel sprouts fan but I did quite loved them and even finished my plate :)
You will be using very few ingredients, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, grass fed butter or coconut oil, olive oil and parmesan cheese (optional). Remember always feel free to change it up and make it your own.
Trim and cut brussel sprouts in half carefully, and toss in with all ingredients. I find that the brussel sprouts absorbs more of the flavor that way rather than just coating them.
Once they are well mixed, in a oven sheet pan, place brussel sprouts separately and without touching, this will avoid the brussel sprouts from getting soggy. Finish, by sprinkling more parmesan cheese on top!
