Homemade Granola


Yes homemade granola!! I bet you think making Homemade Granola is hard and tricky. Right?

Well it's quite simple, easy and delicious. Why make it? When you can buy it... There are actually pretty Healthy brands out there my favorite one is called Purely Elizabeth. But many brands are not as healthy, if you read ingredients it includes very fishy ingredients such as fructose, or sometimes plain old cane sugar.

By making your own granola, you are learning that is the most important thing; there is always a sense of achievement when you have made your very own Homemade Granola, it's budget friendly and it is very very healthy!

Make sure to mix in your favorite nuts and seeds, and dried fruit even some shredded coconut!

Homemade Granola

Preparation Time: 8 mins

Cooking Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 23 mins

Ingredients

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cashews

1/2 cup pistachios

1/4 cup raisins

1/4 cranberries

2 tbs honey

2 tbs coconut palm sugar

2 tbs coconut oil, melted

1/2 tbs cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 tbs almond flour

Directions

1. Preheat oven at 350F.

2. In a large bowl add 1/4 cup of every nuts and seeds and the rest, chop it into small pieces, and add it to the bowl.

3. Add dried fruit, honey, coconut palm sugar, coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract and almond flour, mix well.

4. Spread mix into a cooking sheet and cook for 15 minutes, mix trail mix half at 8 minutes and make sure mix doesn't get burn.

Enjoy this wonderful granola with fruit and yogurt, ice-cream or as cereal!
