Tackle Your Goals For An Epic 2018


I'm back with you all!! I took some time off to be with my family and most importantly to be with myself, during these months I use it as a time of Reflection.

A time to reflect of the year that has passed, to ask myself:

What goals did I accomplish?

What did I learned, from the good, the bad and the ugly?

Was I the best version of myself?

In what ways did I grow?

What I am grateful for?

What goals did I not accomplish? And, do I still want to accomplish them? (if not I let them go)

So I am crystal clear of the vision that I have for the following year...

I know it is so easy to be taken by the wave of the next year, going directly full throttle into Goal Setting and skip the part of Reflection, but this is a big part of the puzzle. So before you head into or you continue with your Goal Setting and Manifestation, take some time, go ahead and ask yourselves the same questions I did. Take a deep breath, sit comfortably and get your journaling ON.

Perfect, now let's say goodbye to the past take what you have learned and move into this amazing year to come!

CREATING GOALS

This is my favorite combination, for me goals in order for them to be attainable, they have to be realistic and specific.

So set, 5 goals, that you truly want to accomplish, make sure they are realistic, and be specific.

Here is a clear example, instead of saying My Goal: Is to Exercise, instead establish and write down:

1) What type of exercise (yoga, crossfit, running, cycling, pilates?)

2) When are you going, what days?

3) At what time

4) Mark it down in your calendar.

Use these questions for every single goal not only for this year in general but for every single task you have on a daily basis.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR TRIGGERS

We all are human, we are programmed in a certain way since childhood, we all have certain things we do consciously and unconsciously that might no be the healthiest behaviors.

Be brave and get to know them, you will only #1 understand why you act and eat the way you do and #2 you will find that these behaviors are behaviors that you can work on and modified them into healthy ones.

Fear, anxiety, wanting to stay in our comfort zone really get in the way of the things we want to achieve. Don't you think so??

So get to know them, work on them and you will be amazed how goals become more effortless to achieve.

SETBACKS ARE PART OF THE PROCESS

We often feel defeated and many times we quit, when we go through a set back but really it is part of the process. The process of growing and learning, imagine if everything would come out perfectly at the first try? When would we learn?

Be patient, a setback can be a good thing, when you choose to learn from it.

Finally, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and envision your 2018, like if you are already doing it. The things you will accomplish. The love you will give out. The places you will travel to. Write it down...

Feels good right? This stuff it is pretty powerful.

This is not to be rushed so please take your time with this. Once you have finished pop it in an envelope, seal it, write your name on it and put it somewhere you won’t lose it.

Most importantly, have fun with this. Because if it ain’t fun it ain't worth it, sista!
